In a Birmingham basement, 2 hit men patiently await their next assignment. Ben and Gus only have each other for company and an uncertain task ahead of them. Filling the time should be easy enough, with casual conversation and reminiscing about previous jobs… until the dumb waiter at the back of the room starts moving.

The Dumb Waiter is a one-act, absurd and tragic-comic play written by British playwright Harold Pinter in 1957. Showcasing a comedy of menace specific to Pinter’s early works, the play has a different approach and dramatic style than the absurdist works we have produced until now.
